The 8th edition of ADDITƐD is attracting the major players in the additive manufacturing sector

It will be held from 3 to 7 June as part of BIEMH

New technologies, new markets and new opportunities These will be the inputs around which the new edition of ADDITƐD will revolve, the nationally leading industrial space for Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing , which has once again attracted the interest of the sector’s major companies. This eighth edition will be held from 3 to 7 June at Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

Over the course of five days, the latest technological developments in terms of systems and machinery, industrial applications, raw materials for additive manufacturing, consumables, software projects and 3D scanning scanners and services will be presented.

This entire ecosystem will consist of leading firms that have already confirmed they will attend, such as Arburg, Dativic, Aitiip, Join 3D, Optimus 3D, Hervel, Madit 3D, Maquinser, Mausa 3D, HP, H3D, Sicnova, Ziknes, Intech 3D, Indart 3D, Meltio, 3DCeram, Basf Forward Am, Bcn 3D, Teton Simulation, Smart Materials 3D, Shining 3D, Markforged, Lynxter, Filamentum, Essentium, Nexa 3D, Raise 3D, GE Additive, Materialise, Sintratec, Lumex/Matsuura, Dyemansion, Alma, Ampere, Granutools, Imet 3D, Intech 2015, Manfacter, Tecnica de Captacion de Servicios, Wehl&Partner, 3DZ and AIJU, Addimen, Asorcad, Dativic, Laboratorio Geométrico, Polifluor, Winkle, Tumaker, Bronymec, Filament2print, with others still to be added.

In response to this exhibition, professional visitors have already registered whose activity is closely related to strategic sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, naval, metal, auxiliary and capital goods, defence and railway industries, among others.

Since its launch in 2016, the growth experienced by ADDITƐD is a good reflection of the importance of additive manufacturing and 3D printing as a substantial part of Advanced Manufacturing. This eighth edition will therefore once again take a comprehensive approach that will merge the exhibition and product presentation area with the conference section. Thus, through spaces such as the Additive Talks (conferences with technological and strategic content in innovation) representatives of leading domestic and international companies will address the development, implementation and major challenges of additive technology, offering their own experiences and presenting their success stories first-hand. The Scientific Committee is formed by AItzol Lamikiz from UPV; Virgilio García from ARCELORMITTAL; Naiara Zubizarreta from ADDIMAT and Miquel Olivé from HP.

Moreover,  as proof of its influence in the sector, it has the ‘Complete Internationality’ certificate that the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism awards to fairs that have held at least three editions of the event, have 10% foreign exhibitors or are able to attract 5% foreign visitors. To obtain this certification, each trade fair must enjoy the support of the sector, work with new technologies and have had a favourable report from the Territorial Directorate of Trade and ICEX, requirements that ADDITƐD comfortably meets.

ADDITƐD will be held as part of BIEMH-International Machine Tool Biennial and jointly with BeDIGITAL; and WORKinn-Talent Hub. Thus, it will round off the largest showcase of Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

ADDITƐD is organised by ADDIMAT (Spanish Association of Additive Manufacturing Technologies) and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, with Basque Government and SPRI as an institutional partner.
