Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing: “Speed, Quality and Unprecedented Costs”

ADDIT3D showcases this week their revolutionary developments in materials, applications and equipments in an exhibition area with the participation of 87 companies. As defined by Stephen Nigro, President of the 3D Printing Business at HP, “companies and manufacturers need to rethink entirely the way in which they design and provide solutions to their customers”. In the case of the US company, the new HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution presented at ADDIT3D offers a combination of speed, quality and unprecedented costs within the sector. It is a unique 3D printing platform thanks to its ability to manage over 340 million voxels per second, offering manufacturing and prototyping partners a development speed that is radically quicker, providing functional parts and economic progress.

On the other hand, the industrial solutions of Dassault Systèmes, another exhibitor at the event, “provide users with an integrated set of applications for additive manufacturing, offering high flexibility in the design of parts, their production and testing, which helps reduce waste and the costs associated to the manufacturing of complex parts, without foregoing resistance or performance”, explained Miguel Hernández, Senior Partner Success Management, VS, Iberia. Digital continuity offered by the French firm allows companies to optimise their conceptual designs, virtually validating each phase of the additive manufacturing process.
