The Space Spider, a new and improved instrument for CAD users and engineers, is a high-resolution 3D scanner based on blue light technology. It is perfect for capturing small objects or intricate details of large industrial objects with high resolution, high accuracy and brilliant colors.
The scanner's ability to capture complex geometries, sharp edges and thin indentations puts our technology on another level. It is an ideal industrial 3D scanner for capturing objects such as molding parts, PCBs, keys, coins or even a human ear, and then exporting the final 3D model to CAD software.
Space Spider offers virtually unlimited possibilities in areas such as reverse engineering, quality control, product design and manufacturing.
Originally designed to meet Space Station specifications, this next-generation industrial 3D scanner features powerful temperature stabilization and a high degree of electronics, which not only allow it to achieve maximum accuracy in three minutes (ten times faster than the Spider), but also ensures high long-term repeatability in data capture, as the accuracy of the device is unaffected by fluctuations in ambient conditions.
