ADDIT3D, the first and only national, professional trade show focusing on additive manufacturing and 3D printing
The current industrial revolution resulting from new ways of organising production resources: Industry 4.0 has enabled companies to self-govern, increase their efficiency and flexibility in order to provide their customers with customised products, with reduced costs and lower turnaround times.
Industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing/3D printing form an advantageous pairing that goes much further than the customisation of products and services. Additive manufacturing and 3D printing opens up a range of new possibilities for the new industry, providing new designs with classical manufacturing technologies which, until very recently, were out of the question.
This is the context in which ADDIT3D, International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing emerges, a space that combines the conference area for the analysis and knowledge transfer of these new production opportunities with the exhibition and product presentation area.
The participating sectors are: Systems and machinery (powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, light curing, sheet rolling, extrusion of materials, hybrid manufacturing cells…), raw materials (powder, filaments, photo polymers…), research and development, industrial applications (aerospace technology, automotive industry, lightweight construction, mechanical engineering, die and prototype manufacturing, medical science, household products…), consumables (gas supply, dielectric fluids, lubricants), services, software (simulation, machine and quality control, CAD/CAM…), scanner and training, as well as those corresponding to professional associations and specialised publications or journals.
ADDIT3D 2018 will take place from 28 May to 01 June 2018, supported and integrated into the exhibition space of BIEMH 2018, the Machine-Tool Biennial exhibition, closely linked to the manufacturers and distributors of the main industrial sectors, bringing together the highest concentration of business in the country in Industry 4.0, attended by more than 40,000 professional visitors from the main promotional sectors of the world economy.
